Wilderness Survival Training
Aim
A survival situation may occur for many reasons such as: an engine failure, bad weather, negligence, ground accident, radio problems... In these situations, pilots and passengers should always have one thing in mind; STAYING ALIVE until rescue arrives.
We could consider long-term survival (3 days or more). But with today's aviation technology, search and rescue organizations and all the usual preventive measure, the risk of being isolated for many days is small.
